Your favourite comfort food just got an upgrade! Now you can enjoy this classic dessert in any season with a little help from our classic Apple Pie Moonshine. This twist on a classic sangria is sure to become your new go-to gathering cocktail, and is dangerously good – you’re welcome!
Grab a trusty saucepan and combine the water, sugar, and spices. Give it a hefty stir and let that sucker boil. Simmer for 10 minutes, or until the sugar is fully dissolved and a thick syrup forms.
Chill the mixture in your fridge until you’re ready to use it. Chilling the syrup won’t only help incorporate it into the sangria but will only keep the spices from clumping. There’s nothing worse than trying to enjoy a cool glass of Apple Pie Sangria and swallowing a big clump of goopy cinnamon.
In your biggest pitcher, add the cubes of apples and pear. With a heavy hand, pour in your favourite white wine, apple cider, apple pie simple syrup, and top it off with our spiced Apple Pie Moonshine. Stir to combine.
Refrigerate the pitcher for at least 6 hours, but we recommend leaving it overnight for best results. Give it another stir before serving.
If you’re planning on enjoying our Apple Pie Shine Sangria at a weekend gathering, we recommend whipping up a batch on a Thursday night for prime flavour.
